10th Anniversary Thoughts

It barely seems that we will have been in existance as Seagraves and Dixon for 10 years but , on 13th February, thats exactly what it will be. It must be said that it was a very steep learning curve at first to go from managing shops to running a small business in its entirety but it has been a very enjoyable first 10 years. I can still remember our first full day in the shop when we started planning how we wanted to move things about and bring our own systems and way of doing things to a business that had already been in existance for 20 years and 10 years down the line we are still trying to find ways to make things work the way we want them. We were lucky insomuch as all the staff who worked for Seagraves agreed to stay on and work for us and were brilliant in accepting our ideas, educating us (for there was a lot to learn) and tolerating our mistakes but we soon turned into a strong team and I am pleased to say that we still have one of the original members of staff with us keeping us in order and we have always managed to find good staff if anyone moved on. The biggest bonus in running our own business has been the interaction with our customers and indeed their loyalty to us. which is much appreciated. Over the next months we will have special offers in store so keep your eyes out both on here and in the window to find some great 10th Anniversary deals.
